The Sound Of A Bright Young Britain
Although many will instantly think of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Rick Astley and Bananarama when hearing the words ‘Pete Waterman Limited’, following on from its inception in December 1983, PWL has been approached to produce, remix and work on tracks for a host of established artists such as Cliff Richard, Debbie Harry, Erasure, Westlife, The Three Degrees, Donna Summer, Edwin Starr, The Four Tops, ABC, Barry Manilow, Diana Ross, The Village People, La Toya Jackson, Errol Brown, Chic, The Jackson 5, Holly Johnson, New Kids On The Block, Boney M, Britney Spears, Geri Halliwell, Alison Moyet and Depeche Mode.
Since enjoying its first Top 20 hit in 1984, PWL has helped launch the musical careers of new and exciting acts like Mel & Kim, Sonia, 2Unlimited and Steps and has also worked with internationally recognised stars like Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, Boy George, Lisa Stansfield, Bros, Wet Wet Wet, and Kim Wilde when donating studio and production time to record charity singles to help raise money for a range of important and high-profile causes.
Once home to the phenomenally successful Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting and production team, over the years, a terrific crew of talented writers, musicians, producers, remixers and engineers have worked at PWL to create an unrivalled – and often envied – catalogue of music that is the soundtrack to a generation.
Divine, Princess, Dead Or Alive, Hazell Dean, Sinitta, Sybil, Brother Beyond, Samantha Fox, Undercover, Lonnie Gordon, Loveland, Opus III, WWF Superstars and even Manchester United have all had hits recorded with us or released by us.

Dr Pete Waterman OBE is one of the original working class heroes. From humble beginnings in Coventry, he has travelled the world and is famous for his work in a number of areas – most notably music and railways (both full-sized and model).
Starting out as a club DJ playing other people’s songs, Pete has been responsible for sales of over 500 million units around the world and has worked with a who’s who of popular music artists. You can read his official biography here.
